On Thursday nights every August, the Ardenwald-Johnson Creek Neighborhood Association hosts family-friendly outdoor concerts at Ardenwald Park (3667 SE Roswell St. in Milwaukie, across from Ardenwald Elementary School). All concerts begin at 6:30pm and end at dusk.

August 6 – Curtis Salgado / National Night Out

The first Thursday in August is also the neighborhood’s National Night Out celebration that starts at 6:00 p.m. Public safety representatives from both Portland and Milwaukie promote safety awareness, answer citizens’ questions, and provide fun activities and materials for children.
